It is with great pleasure that we launch MySportProfiler to you, a new social-professional networking website dedicated to the sports industry.

In order to truly understand the stakes of MySportProfiler, before presenting our platform, we’d like to take a moment to explain what a social-professional network is.

Today there are three large social-professional networking websites: LinkedIn, Viadeo and Xing, each one being based on the same idea, creating business relationships by putting people into contact with each other. They are different from purely social networking sites, which merely help users make potential friendships.

A social-professional network can therefore help you to both propose and win business contracts, whether they are business opportunities or jobs.

MSP uses this proven model but has deliberately chosen to concentrate its activity on one particular sector: the sports industry. This industry is expected to employ more than 2 million people by 2010 (CNRS Study – September 2007), an industry which has its own unique identity based on human relationships.

Our social-professional network uses the three major sections that you would expect to find: members, jobs and forums. The topics for each of these sections are all based upon working life in the sports industry.

However, because the world of sport is a little unusual, and that the experience of Sport Invest Search (the mother company of MYSPORTPROFILER) in the domain of recruitment has shown us, MySportProfiler stands out due to its unique blend of professional and personal dimensions related to sport. Of course, you’ve got more chance of working for a surf company if you are yourself a surfer, or if you are interested in the sport. This reflection was ever-present in the minds of the creators!

Finally, because we believe that social-professional networking should be easy and fun to use, we have made MySportProfiler as ergonomic, graphic and multimedia orientated as possible. Our goal has been to present a platform that corresponds to the general spirit of the sporting world and the most recent internet evolutions.

Responsibilities:

Objectives:

Same as for France, is to quickly establish conditions to have Kappa reconquest Spain and Portugal Sport Market and giving full value to the brand. Second objective is to launch RDK Business in Spain through a progressive integrated retail business.

Collections:

Same as France collections together with a few SMU:

- Take advantage of the France: good expertise in Footwear (large collection, minimum of production as France volumes are enough, good pricing and quality service).

- Take advantage of France apparel collections already developed for a more sportswear and fashion consumption.

- Develop Kappa4team France business in Spain & Portugal. Develop Eroi business.

Marketing

- Same positioning, same strategy and consolidated communication investments with France.

- Operate with good Spanish and Portuguese soccer Teams in the first divisions.

- Launch Kappa Spain & Portugal Website.

- Prepare presence for the Bread & Butter Trade show in Barcelona.

Sales

- Integrated Sales Force as it is now.

- Develop high synergy and common sales programs between Decathlon Spain and Decathlon France.

- Create shop in Shop corner business with Corte Ingles.

- Establish the brand in any valuable Sport retail stores over Spain and Portugal.

- Launch Benjamin socks business in Spain & Portugal.
